The Edge

I stand here on the edge.

The edge of new growth, new life, new reason, new purpose.

I stand here on the edge. Above the roaring, raging ocean.

I stand here on the edge. I feel fear but I'm not afraid.

I stand here on the edge. But it's a new beginning.

I stand here on the edge. Ready to face it all, ready to ride and roll wherever the tide may fall.

All with a smile.

I stand here on the edge. A new life, a new me, a new way of thinking, of being.

I stand here calm. All crashing and raging around me.

But I am the storm.

I stand here on the edge. The life, the universe, the feeling, that I create.

I stand here on the edge.

I will rise.
